  • Identification and selection of public institution buildings to be included in the project
  • Assessment of the energy consumption of public institution buildings
  • Determination of the Area for the installation of photovoltaic systems and preliminary design of photovoltaic solar panels
  • Evaluation of the sustainability of each of the buildings

Brief project description

General objective:

The objective is to select and evaluate public buildings for the photovoltaic solar grid (NMPV) as part of the Renewable Energy Expansion Programme (SREP) to reduce energy consumption costs in public facilities and contribute to achieving a 10% renewable energy policy target in Ghana.

Purpose of the contract:

The aim of this agreement was to carry out feasibility studies on public buildings in Ghana to assess the possibilities of installing net metering solar photovoltaic (NMPV) systems.
